Narene Stevens BA(Hons)-Adjudicator
Narene has a degree in English Literature from Rhoades University, post which she worked at the South African Film Archives. Narene has put on various music shows from Afro-jazz to rap and indigenous. Narene represented Sony Music and Gallo music between 1992 and 2005, having co-ordinated shows with the likes of Randy Crawford, Hugh Masekela and Sibongile Khumalo. Narene owns Blue Stockings Theatre and is a keen promoter of local talent.
Jane Foster – Course presenter
Jane had her first short story published at age six, a writer and poet she enjoyed speech and drama, amateur dramatics and modern dance throughout her school career. She studied Tourism Management in Bloemfontein and sat on the student body organising outdoor rock concerts, variety shows and beauty pageants, she was a DJ on Radio Kovsies and an active promoter of local talent and political awareness.
Jane has presented, managed, designed and co-ordinated various training courses, reselection programmes, change management scenarios, customer service and personal development programmes. She has consulted and managed several national accounts in Europe.
A thespian who has appeared on stage with the Chiswick Players, London and the comical St Christopher’s Player of Luton, Jane has studied acting techniques through skills workshops and one on one tuition. Jane sat on the Liberal democrats Executive Committee for Southampton and ran two successful public campaigns. Jane is experienced in public speaking and debate.
Shawn Wehsling - Meditation facilitator and Technical Support
Shawn is a journalist, creative writer and live music promoter and has 12 years experience in all round media, including television programming, set building, multi-media design and marketing. He has performed a large number of cameo roles in movies, theatre and television programs. Shawn is a Reiki Master and takes a keen interest in alternative therapies and technologies. As course assistant, he brings to the programme, all round support, as well as meditation through music and movement for stress management and relaxation.
KristA Turner – Course co-ordinator
KristA comes from a media, design and management background and worked as a DJ on Ushaka radio as well as presented and interviewed for an online video productions company, Kuluma TV. She has facilitated personal development and personal growth potential interactive courses and has a passion for human development potential as a co-creative change catalyst.

All courses run from 9am to 5pm
